Undoubtedly, we are all aware that we are in the last days of the age, even without being told, there are many changes in politics, nature, lifestyle – in humanity as a whole, pointing us to this fact as truth.
It is time to start asking questions. God is willing to answer anyone who is interested. He has never wanted to keep anything from those who want to know the truth. However, one major principle of His Kingdom is that “if you don’t ask you don’t get”.
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” [Matthew 7:7]
In this article, I would want to set our minds to work by asking you some FORTY questions you need to be seeking God for answers. In fact, if you were to check, there are many of such things you need to find answers to in this Book, because the answers will determine where you pitch your eternal tent.
These are the mysteries of the End of Days. Why should you be seeking an understanding to these mysteries or answers to my 40 questions? It is very simple; your future depends on it. The answers you get from these questions will influence your moment-by-moment decisions. You will be able to make the right choices – choices that will resonate in eternity.
I will be opening one of the most mysterious Books of the Bible – the Book of Revelation! This Book was historically dated to have been written sometime between 70AD and 95AD. Whatever the year may have been, it was definitely some DECADES after Jesus Christ had resurrected.
Out of these 30 key points of this Book, I will be picking on one. It came about at one of our online Bible Studies when a lady asked, “Who is the woman of Revelation 12, and who is the ManChild she gave birth to?”
Before I start my 40 questions to probe what the Bible is saying here, I would like to draw your attention to the statement of Jesus Christ at the very beginning of the Book, this verse is quite important to unlocking this mystery.
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:” [Revelation 1:1]
Then later as Jesus continued to reveal things to John the Beloved, a mystery was unfolded to him.
“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.” [Revelation 12:1-2]
Why was this woman in labour?
Just within these seventeen verses of chapter twelve, we find all these forty questions and possibly more, perhaps if you dig a little deeper, you will discover more.
Do you know why you should seek GOD for the answers to these pertinent questions? Because He wants you to know, He wants you to live as His shining light and not be in darkness. He wants you to be aware of what He is doing in these End Times. So, you just can’t walk away from the TRUTH.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” [Hosea 4:6]
Can you see why you cannot afford to be ignorant or remain in the dark? God, your Heavenly Father wants you to know what is happening in this End of Days!

Thanks for this comprehensive number of questions, Brother John. I always thought that woman was the mother of Jesus, that is, the Virgin Mary, but reading through the chapter and also Revelation 1 vs 1 as you mentioned, I can only ask you back, who do you think that woman is? Yes, I can see it is not the mother of Jesus. I’m curious.
I think the dragon is the Devil, because verse 9 says so.
Apart from these, the remaining looks mysterious, but I’m curious to know. Would you be supplying the answers to all those 40 questions?
Dear Adrian, thanks for your comment. I will be addressing the 40 questions in my next post. However, the questions are meant for everyone to go back and STUDY the Word of God. God Bless.
Thanks for these questions, Brother John.
I am looking forward to the answers, when will you be tackling them?
I am very much interested in the water coming out of the dragon’s mouth and how it turned into a flood. Sounds interesting 🙂
Hello brother John, I must admit that I’m really caught into these issues and in fact I cant wait to start getting the answers particularly from you……. These and many other issues from this book have spurred many arguments between myself and others. I really await the answers God bless!
Well, the truth of the matter is not everybody will have the divine revelation or the spiritual understanding of this truth. For this reason, there is no need for arguments; the Word of God gives a clear revelation and understanding of this mystery, however, some will read or see it and never understand because it is not GIVEN to them.
The understanding of these mysteries is for the saints of God, in fact, not all the saints, BUT those whom God has chosen. So, what if He has chosen you to understand and not chosen the brother with whom you are arguing? The argument will be completely fruitless.
When you know and understand the answers to these questions, it is not for you (or any of us) to boast or use it to show off, it is that we may not live or walk in darkness because we are the children of Light.
Thanks brother John, I’m enlightened…….. Loooking forward to the next post.
Many thanks to God for this opportunity given to brother John and to many that will share in this knowledge of the revelation given to John the beloved. Some of the occurrences in the book of revelation are symbolic in nature and also enveloped timeless spiritual warfare.
13:10 ”And the disciples came and said to Him (Jesus), why do You speak in parables?” 11. Jesus answer and said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. I believe God wants us to understand the mysteries as a believer. Prov. 25:2 ”It is the glory of God to conceal a matter: but a honour of a king is to search out a matter.”
In Gen.3:15 God made a declaration ”I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and the her offspring; he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.”
In Gen. 35:10,11 And God said to him, ”Your name is Jacob, your name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but Israel shall be your name,” So He called his name Israel.
11. Also God said to him: ” I am God Almighty . Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body.
God birth Israel as a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body.
Gen.37:9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, ”Look I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” That means including Joseph, that represents a star.
1.The woman is Israel, Ezek. 16:27-30, that gave birth to Jesus
2.The Child is Jesus, in the time of king Herod, tried to kill Jesus in Jerusalem (Matt.2:13-17)
3 The dragon represent Satan
We have heard, seen and touched the truth as the Word of Life, that lived among us as flesh. John 1:14 ”And the word became flesh and dwell among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
To be continue……………..
Thanks for all your answers and questions.
