Sicknesses and diseases are the pains of death. It is not a matter to debate if there is anything called the pains of death. In fact, symptoms of ageing are signs of the pains of death. A young man that is beginning to feel backaches or a young woman who starts to notice wrinkles are signs of the pains of death.

Some friends and I run a small WhatsApp health group to educate ourselves on good health. This is based on the principle of Romans 6:1.

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” That is, should we be engaged in bad habits and continue to blame God that we are sick? A few examples of this are the use of seed oils, which are high in Omega-6 fatty acids.

While it is good to include a measure of this oil in our diet, we really don’t need as much as we often find in the average diet. Instead, we consume too much of this fatty acid and it causes all sorts of problems in the body.

These include:
1. High Inflammation (the body’s immune response)
2. Excess blood clotting
3. Unnecessary cell growth
4. Constriction of blood vessels
5. Uncontrolled tissue damage, and so on.

Now, imagine someone who is experiencing excessive blood clotting, and goes to fast and pray for healing. Then immediately after his prayers, his food is made with Corn oil. Is that not confirming Romans 6:1?

Or someone who treasures eating red meat, can’t do without dairy products, relishes corn, fries with sunflower oil, enjoy peanuts and loves to snack with salty pretzels. And he keeps praying and moaning that his prayers for the healing of his rheumatoid arthritis are not getting better?

Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?”

While it is good to be observant and watch what you eat by not making your body the dumping ground for toxins and inflammatory compounds, there are people who observe these things and still get sick or catch debilitating diseases such as cancer, cataracts, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory infections, Alzheimer’s disease, or even Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)!

Some of the foods that we call good have been polluted through all sorts of genetic modifications or sprayed with toxic chemicals in the name of preservation or pest control. In reality, no one seems to be free from all these strategies of death.

Very recently, Mike Adams (Natural News), reported that “The USDA is air-dropping edible ‘vaccines’ across 13 states, claiming to be controlling raccoons and rabies. But the bait is so dangerous, it’s never supposed to be ingested.”

In fact, the Medcrome website lists the top worst diseases ever to be these:
Smallpox (430 BC- 1979)
Typhus (430 BC – today)
Malaria (1600 – today)
AIDS (1981 – today)
Cholera (1817 – today)

Symptoms of Disease or Pains of Death?
These diseases are nothing but the symptoms of death. Perhaps, using the word SYMPTOM is a fashionable way of addressing the matter and removing the sting from it. The Bible calls it the pains of death. It is like a form of shackles or handcuffs that cannot be removed until a person is permanently locked away.

The Hebrew word, from Strong’s Concordance, is חֵבֶל חֶבֶל, that is, chebel chêbel, pronounced kheh’-bel, khay’-bel. From H2254; a rope (as twisted), especially a measuring line; by implication a district or inheritance (as measured); or a noose (as of cords); figuratively a company (as if tied together); also a throe (especially of parturition); also ruin: – band, coast, company, cord, country, destruction, line, lot, pain, pang, portion, region, rope, snare, sorrow, tackling.

It is also like when a boa-constrictor wraps around its prey and tightens itself in order to strangle the prey to death. This is what the pains or pangs of death do to people.

The Psalmist observed this same problem in his own life and wrote:
“The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.” [Psalm 116:3]

These diseases cause pain and sorrow. They cause varying levels of discomfort, not just physically, but financially and socially. They can make a billionaire feel completely helpless even with all his riches and access to the best healthcare system. Worst still, even the best doctor in the world is not excused from the terrors of death.

Is there any remedy for these symptoms of death? Does God have a cure? Can anyone access this remedy? Or is it a matter of the future?

The beautiful thing about this case is that Jesus already accessed and used this remedy. And as His children, it is equally for us. In fact, He opened the access for His own, being the firstborn of the Father.

“Whom God hath raised up, having LOOSED THE PAINS OF DEATH: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” [Acts 2:24 KJV]

It does make me feel unimpressed by highly intelligent people who can’t see what Jesus did for humanity through the Cross. That He came to set them free from these pains of death.

One can quickly object, but I see those who claim allegiance to Jesus suffering from these pains of death, too. Everyone is bound to experience it, you can’t escape this process at the hands of Mr Death.

I have good news for you today. It is called the Everlasting Gospel. It is the message that Christ brought to the world and He was attacked and killed for it. But, God has not relented, He has positioned His angels to herald the message for your freedom from the tortures of death.

It is clearly written in Revelation 14:6-7, “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
“Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

God, by His Holy Spirit practically demonstrated this when He raised Jesus from the grave after being dead for three days and three nights. The pangs of death held Him firmly in the grave for those three harrowing days, waiting for the decay of His body to start so that worms could feed on Him. Then something happened.

The Spirit of resurrection came and touched the shackles of death, loosed and set Him free forever from anything called death. The one who held the power of hell and death was destroyed and Jesus rose up and walked out of the tomb!

God had promised that He was going to destroy or exterminate death and the grave and He fulfilled that word through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

” I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.” [Hosea 13:14]

The Pains of Death
The pains of death have to be loosed. It has to be exterminated. There is no cuddling, no kidding, no embracing. Saints, you have embraced the pains of death for so long and it has not been a warming experience. It is time to REFRAIN from embracing (Ecclesiastes 3:5). Let go!

The root of that word, loose is the Greek: λύω. Transliteration: lýō. Pronounced: loo’-o
———-
Description: a primary verb; to “loosen” (literally or figuratively):
Translation: break (up), destroy, dissolve, (un-)loose, melt, put off. Compare ῥήγνυμι(G4486).

KJV usage: loose (27x), BREAK (5x), unloose (3x), DESTROY (2x), DISSOLVE (2x), put off (1x), melt (1x), break up (1x), break down (1x).

When we see the word’s meaning, it should make us excited. It is the same word Jesus used when He raised Lazarus from death, “And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.” [John 11:44 KJV]

And it is the same word He used as a promise to us to set us free from this serious affliction that sin brought upon humanity.

John the apostle says, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS of the devil.” [1 John 3:8 KJV]

Beloved saint, this is the same word Peter used to describe the melting of the ELEMENTS in 2 Peter 3:10-12. Some would want to have us think he was talking about the physical world. He was actually referring to what earth and heaven stand for, that is, the physical and spiritual states of man.

When Jesus healed the woman who had scoliosis, and some people murmured because it was the Sabbath, Jesus responded with these words, “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this BOND on the sabbath day?” [Luke 13:16 KJV]

The word He used to describe the actual state of that pain is bond. That is bondage. Shackles or impediment or disability.

Greek: δεσμόν.
Transliteration: desmón. Pronunced: des-mos’
———-
Description: neuter and masculine respectively from δέω(G1210); a band, i.e. ligament (of the body) or SHACKLE (of a prisoner); figuratively, an impediment or disability:
Translation: band, bond, CHAIN, string.

Everyone in the world is disabled by the pains of death in one form or another.

Glory to God! Jesus prevailed and said, “And I WILL GIVE UNTO THEE THE KEYS of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” [Matthew 16:19 KJV]

God is the One who has the keys to loosen or release (totally annihilate) man from the pains of death. And He promised to give it to us. He said I WILL GIVE the keys that control this state of bondage unto you.

If you possess the keys of the Kingdom, you can have victory over the pains of death and should just release or loosen yourself from the pains of death. It would absolve yourself from the effects of this pain such as ageing and even basic accidents such as hurting your foot.

No wonder Jesus exclaimed, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” [1 Corinthians 15:55 KJV]

David's Place Was Empty
The saints that rose after the resurrection of Christ were able to do so because they were loosed from the bond of death (Matthew 27:52). Death once held them in shackles to the grave, they couldn’t progress to heaven, they couldn’t get caught up unto God and unto His throne.

Saint, get into the Mount of olives, get in your knees and press that oil, EARNESTLY call to be loosed from the chains of death! Jesus did it and was heard.

“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;” [Hebrews 5:7 KJV]

How is this key exercised when you have it in your hand? Jesus taught us. We must remember what He said.

“Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.”
[Luke 7:6‭-‬8 KJV]

No, you don’t have to go to some mountain to seek this key that loosens the pains of death. It is right with you. In fact, it is IN you. Jesus revealed it in Luke 17:21.

“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Paul expanded on the words of Jesus Christ by saying:

Romans 10:7  Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
Romans 10:8  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The Word of God that destroyed death is IN you and all you need to do is believe it and declare it with your mouth!

Ezekiel did and what happened? Read the story in Ezekiel 37. You can either believe what God HAS DONE or refuse to believe and die. Have you spoken it once or twice or thrice and nothing seems to happen? Do it again! Elijah did it seven times. When should you give up? Never!

God the Father is eagerly waiting for His sons to rise up and make this commitment against this last enemy. Can He count on you? Rise up and fight. You are destined to win the battle. Jesus already won the war!

The whole creation is awaiting His sons to rise up and possess this possession. No, it is not a futuristic event. It is now. T-O-D-A-Y.

The Psalmist said in chapter 49 verse 20, “Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.”

The Passion Translation says it like this, “So this is the way of mortal man—honored for a moment, yet without eternal insight, like a beast that will one day perish.”

If you don’t want to perish like a beast, then receive and utilize this eternal insight. It is called the Everlasting Gospel. Saints, you have been honoured by God to testify to His goodness with your life that God has destroyed death. This is what you came to do in this generation – show forth THIS testimony.
