Tragic-Hero: A wave of water was coming fast when McErlean reached them with the rope. “Save my brother first,” Jordan said. “… he asked a rescuer to save his little brother, Blake, before himself. Jordan Rice and his mother, Donna, were swept away by floodwaters and drowned before rescuer Warren McErlean could return for them.” …. How many of us can say this to God?

As Christians we should ALL be in rescue work. Jesus said, “Go into all the world…” The vast majority are at the brink of hell, either we believe it or not. We must remember that “In due time their foot will slip” (Deut. 32:35) and they will …be gone forever! Now will you pray like Moses and Paul (and Jordan Rice), “Save my brother first”?

Moses prayed, “Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin–; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.” Exo 32:32 and Paul, “…That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:….” (Rom 9:2-3)

Jesus said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mar 16:16-18.

So, what are you doing about this? You have a FaceBook account? Or is it Twitter? or is it MySpace? Get to work, be like Jesus, make friends with sinners (Jesus was called a Friend of sinners), tell them about Christ, preach to them.

Stop dithering, love the sinner hate the sin. Remember the story of the Master and his Vine?

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. After agreeing with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And going out about the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and to them he said, ‘You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went. Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same.

“And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.‘ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’ And when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’ And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius.” (Mat 20:1-9)

Believe it or not, we are in the eleventh hour of Time. Time will cease very very soon, sooner than we expect.”

There is a vineyard available to you, FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace, Google Buzz, Yahoo Buzz, FriendFinder, YouTube, Vimeo, etc. Can you talk? Create audios and videos and share the Gospel (in its simplicity) with the world. Can you write? Make friends and chat with them, if they ask questions or issues that are too big for you to deal with, connect them with someone or organisations that can help them.

The resources you need? Your Bible, prayer, computer, Internet connection, an account at one of these social networks.

Be all things to all men (without losing your own salvation) so that you can by some means save some. God has not called you to be another Saviour of the world, but a little saviour of your neighbour, one at a time.

Yes, one at a time!

Hi Lee, I have replied to your comment, check your email and also SPAM folder. Regarding your mention of scripture and prayer about things in my articles, I believe you can just talk to God directly about them. However, when we interact through Skype or WhatsApp, I will explain more. Shalom. Thanks.
